Extremadura, 19th century. Four children play cards in the shade of a fig tree until the arrival of Rogelio changes their lives forever. As children, the landowner prevents them from enjoying the countryside freely by throwing stones at them, and as adults, he begins to use firearms.

So far, the only victim has been one of the sheep belonging to our protagonists, but who knows if, in the future, one of them will become the next victim. It is time to act, so the four friends decide to choose, through a card game, which one of them will kill the oppressor.
