Last week, the Mironins travelled all the way to France to be part of the Annecy International Animated Film Festival and Market (MIFA) and show what the project is all about.
We also got a chance to share the latests news regarding the project as well as a first look at the Mironins in action: a preview of the show’s opening sequence, theme song included!
We are very pleased to have been able to participate in the transmedia pitches at MIFA this year and we’re very excited that Mironins won the INA-Expert Prize awarded by the Institut National de l'Audiovisuel (INA).
We’re glad we had the chance to meet producers from Chile, Canada, Argentina, France, Belgium and all over the world and reconnect with so many old friends. We hope to see you all again next year!
Mironins is a transmedia project that comprises an animation TV series, an interactive game, an augmented reality app, the activity book "Mironins, a book to play And learn with Joan Miró" (available in bookstores and with more than 10 000 copies sold already), merchandising and the Mironins Art Lab.
Mironins has obtained the support of the Creative Europe Media - Single Project development grant, ICEC (Institut Català de les Empreses Culturals) - development grant and has already been picked up by TVE (Televisión Española) for coproduction. The project has also been awarded several prizes in Annecy, FICOD, Cinekid and GAC and has been presented in festivals and markets such as Carrtoon Forum, Cartoon Connection, Cartoon 360 and Anima’t.
