The Gardell family has spent several generations devoted to rural life. An unexpected change in the contractual conditions of the land they work forces Tomàs and Maria to transform their farm into a rural guesthouse, where they patiently wait for the arrival of any guest.
Can Gardell is a fiction proposal featuring real people, a portrait of a form of rural life that seems to have no place in the modern landscape.
